DaisyMaeHats

Sweet babies, their little eyes closed in the bliss of peaceful dreams or delighted when you walk into the room. Rosy pink cheeks or beautiful chocolate kissies, sweet amber noses, and delicate cinnamon chins - they are all so precious and the greatest gift this world gives us. Our feature and giveaway today is from Daisy Mae Hats, who gets to spend her time and craft accentuating these precious jewels of life.

This sweet little baby hat could be on the baby you love. The Alisha hat is made with white cotton yarn and a pink twist flower, this hat is DaisyMae's most popular. The hat can be made in any size, though, from baby to adult. The winner will be able to choose their hat size from her. To enter to win, simply comment below and enter your email address as myname (at) myemail (dot) com so that I can contact you. That's it! The winner is chosen at random from Random.org in the order of their posting.

As you can see DaisyMaeHats makes adorable boutique style crochet hats. Each hat is lovingly handmade by Katy Queen, the owner, and usually custom-made for her customers. She also makes hats for boys and will make the flower to add to an alligator clip at no extra charge. This feature allows you to use the same hat, but exchange flowers (which you can also buy extra of from her!) With a minimum 2 week turn around on orders, get yours in advance of that baby shower!

Katy is married to a wonderful man and they have 3 beautiful children together. Her children have been her models for her wonderful hats. She enjoys being able to make something that others like enough to spend their money on! Her mother taught her to crochet when she was a little girl. She tells us that, "When I became pregnant with my son I started up again. I made mostly afghans until I became pregnant with my daughter. My son been a big baby and no infant hats fit him, I feared it would be the same with her!So I started making hats for each outfit she owned. About a year ago I started them after so much interest from others."
You can find and purchase your own DaisyMae Hats, headbands, a few outfits from her Etsy studio. I found DaisyMae through link love on Facebook. She also keeps up a terrific blog. So take a moment to check her out and get some of these adorable little hats. The baby, child, or even adult in your life deserves a DaisyMae hat!
