Features and giveaways

I've been thinking about doing artisan features for a while now. I do my collection of features for Etsy and Artfire, but I'm thinking of something a little more personal. A giveaway would also be something that I would love to do. I'm in the process of designing something special just for a giveaway, but in the meantime I had an idea. If there are any artisans out there that would like a feature on my blog, I will do an online interview with that artisan in exchange for an item to give away. For instanc, if you would like to donate a few cards, or a bracelet or something, let me know and you will get a feature spot on my blog. My reader list grows every time I post, so as the fan base grows, so does your exposure.

The giveaway will be based on a random number generator using numbers assigned to people that post a comment on the blog. The rules for that will follow as I get interviews and items. So if  you would like a feature, leave me a comment along with a valid email address. Don't put your link because you don't want spammers. Just leave it as "my_email at thisaddress.com" and I'll know how to find you. Also, to have a feature you must have a store front somewhere that readers can view. Your store front must also have more than five items in it. This is necessary so that I don't do a feature, and then you close up your shop and there is no giveaway. (Trust me, this happens and I've experienced it first-hand). Okay, so leave your links and we'll go from there.

  2. how on Earth did I missed you on Facebbok ? I'm following your FB blog connection too, so we'll be ok. I think it's a great idea, having more different kind of items in your giveaway is more attractive - I did this with Debbie and Julie, and I'm working already with Leta on another one. But I'll be on for your next one ! :))
