HAF also has what they call a blog ring. You may have participated in one of these before, and the rules are simple. Each week they feature a new member and their blog. You visit the blog, as well as the other blogs that promote and post about the featured member. Leave comments, love it, follow it, etc. So that is what I am doing with my Wednesdays now. I will still do my group features (as time permits) and will maintain my individual features on each Friday until the interviews run out!
This week the HAF group has decided to promote Jewelry by NaLa. This talented artisan can be found in many differnt places. I actually had made connections with her through Twitter and My Craft Corner long before I found HAF. However, I had never been to her beautiful blog (http://www.jewelrybynala.blogspot.com/) until I started the blog ring. And talk about some beautiful jewelry...
You can find this talented artisan on Etsy, as well as a number of other places like Twitter and Facebook. Of course, she is on HAF, too.
Check out Nala and her work as soon as you can, as these pieces probably won't last long. I thought long and hard before joining an Etsy team. I would read profiles, requirements, follow some posts and people, asked questions, and read blogs. HAF is the one I kept coming back to and that was a real fit for me. I'm not saying it is the ONLY team on Etsy, but it is the one that fit. So if you're looking for a great group, (they are a guild on Artfire as well) check them out. Once you join, don't forget to visit this thread and tell them that Fantasy Dream Knits referred you!
