Especially when you've been asked to test knit something for someone else! I was recently sent a Ravelry message from a published designer asking me to test knit a new piece she is designing. I was extremely flattered, then overly excited when I read that I would get enough of her hand-dyed yarn to complete the project. EEEEEEEKKKKKK!!!!! If you're a knitter, or crocheter, you know where all of this excitement is coming from.
Mmmm...skeins of hand-dyed yarn and a brand new, never-before-published pattern. I'm one of the first to get my hands on it. And I get to keep the item! I wish I could share more with you, but I'm keeping a lid on who and what until it's been published and ready to go. I'll be creating a project in my Ravelry notebook entitled, Shhhh!!! Maybe you'll get some sneak peeks...
